Washing, sometimes referred to as laundering, is a process carried out by our partner facilities to clean your items using water, detergent, and fabric softener. Ironing is the process of using a heated iron to remove wrinkles and creases from clothes and other fabrics.
Laundryheap offers the option of washing and ironing your items or ironing only. Here are the steps followed for each service:
Wash & Iron
Inspection: Your clothes will be inspected for visible stains, damage, and any special care instructions on the care label. Prior to processing the items, we will promptly notify you of any pre-existing damage or stains that we may find. Our partner facilities will do their best to treat your items, however, stain removal is not guaranteed.
Cleaning - Your items will be cleaned in a washing machine using water, detergent, and fabric softener, at the appropriate temperature according to the care label.
Drying - After cleaning, the clothes will be tumble-dried at the appropriate temperature according to the care label.
Ironing - Once the clothes are dry, they will be ironed to remove creases at the appropriate temperature according to the care label.
Packing - Items will be delivered back to you on individual hangers. Folding can be accommodated at an extra cost, if you would like your item to be folded please add it as a special request and speak to our customer service team for confirmation.
Ironing
Laundryheap's ironing service does not include washing your clothes prior to ironing them. The steps followed for our ironing service are:
Ironing - Your clothes will be ironed at the appropriate temperature according to the care label.
Packing - Items will be delivered back to you on individual hangers. Folding can be accommodated at an extra cost, if you would like your item to be folded please add it as a special request and speak to our customer service team for confirmation.

💡 Laundryheap recommends opting for the wash & iron service for items that are heavily creased. Without washing a heavily creased item prior to ironing, the results may not be as expected.
