Laundryheap is on a mission to make clean laundry easily accessible, and we want your experience to be as smooth as possible!
Here's an overview of what your journey with us will look like:
Booking
Select book now in our app and search for the address you'd like us to collect from/deliver to. If we provide our services in your area, you'll be given the option to select the dates and services that suit your needs - you can select one or more services in the same order, so there's no need to place two!
You can also add any special instructions for the driver or facility during the booking flow.
Our new Simplified Checkout lets you choose between:
Self-itemised checkout – add individual items, view an estimated total, and understand pricing upfront before placing your order.
Quick Checkout – skip itemisation entirely for a faster booking experience.
At checkout, you’ll be asked to validate your card, but you’ll only be charged once your items are cleaned at our facility. However, your order must meet the minimum order value and service fee for your area, which will be charged once your order is cleaned.
You will then receive a confirmation email for your scheduled booking.
Preparation
Once you've successfully booked, it's time to get your order ready!
Please pack your items in a disposable bag, ready for our driver to collect. For multiple services in the same order, pack these items in separate bags e.g. washing items in one bag and dry cleaning items in another. If you've opted for 'collection outside' please tag the bags with the correct service.
If you don't have a disposable bag, just let our driver know and they will provide a bag for you.
Collection
You will receive a text with a tracking link when your Laundryheap driver is on their way to collect your order - tracking is also available directly from our app.
When your Laundryheap Driver arrives, they will tag each bag according to the service selected in your booking. Your order will then be delivered to a local partner facility.
Cleaning
Once our partner facility receives your order, they will update our systems with what laundry has been provided - this is called itemisation.
They will then carefully follow the selected service instructions and any special requirements given.
After cleaning your items, they will pack them in bags or hangers (depending on the service), ready to be delivered back to you.
Payment
Now that your items are clean, Laundryheap will charge your saved card for the final amount based on the items recorded at the facility.
The charge will automatically go to the active card details on your account.
Delivery
The final step is to get your items back home! Your Laundryheap driver will collect your order from our partner facility, and you will receive a text with a tracking link when your driver is on their way to deliver your order - tracking is also available directly from our app.
