Laundryheap's Specialist Customer Service Team will review items eligible for compensation on a case-by-case basis, in line with our terms and conditions.

How does compensation work?

Compensation value is decided on a case-by-case basis. Here is a brief overview of what to expect:

  1. The Specialist Customer Service Team will ask you to provide proof of purchase. It is best to provide a receipt, however, if this is not available you may provide a website link for the item.

  2. Our team uses industry-standard depreciation guidelines to determine the value of the item - depreciation is based on the age of the item.

  3. Once the value has been determined, a compensation offer will be shared with you.

  4. The compensation can then be paid to the bank details provided by you.

Depending on the value of the item and the compensation offer, Laundryheap may retain the damaged garment.
